About the Role

In this Department Manager position, you'll take charge of day-to-day operations within your assigned department at our Terrebonne store. Working a consistent 40-hour week on a day shift basis, you'll oversee your team's performance, ensure products meet quality standards, drive departmental sales, and create an inviting shopping experience for our customers. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic operational oversight in a dynamic grocery retail setting.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and schedule department staff to build a high-performing team
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotation procedures
• Oversee product displays and merchandising to maximize sales and reflect current promotions
• Maintain quality assurance and food safety standards for all departmental products
• Monitor departmental sales performance and work toward sales goals with store management
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns professionally
