Senior Project Manager Digital Plattform Automotive (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive client seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital platform operations in Hamburg. In this role, you will take full ownership of the maintenance, care, and editorial development of complex digital web platforms. You'll serve as the strategic and organizational backbone for content teams and UX designers, ensuring new content is structured, reviewed, and published on schedule.

• Lead operational steering and strategic planning for large-scale digital maintenance projects and worldwide content rollouts, acting as the central interface between the client, creative teams, and editorial staff
• Work within agile methodologies daily, translating complex content requirements into clear task packages, managing the backlog, and coordinating sprints through Jira with documentation in Confluence
• Oversee continuous maintenance and editorial population of the platform using your deep understanding of Content Management Systems
• Plan comprehensive acceptance reviews for text inputs and imagery, ensuring only content meeting high quality standards goes live
• Monitor timings, resources, and budgets for ongoing platform support, maintaining composure during high-pressure phases while guiding your project team through complex publication processes

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in digital project management with demonstrated success leading large web platforms or editorial rollouts
• Strong knowledge of modern Content Management Systems and understanding of successful digital editorial and platform maintenance processes
• Expert proficiency with agile workflows, routinely managing tasks through Jira and Confluence
• Leadership skills enabling you to communicate fluently with both content creators and clients, presenting confidently and providing clear direction to project teams
• Highly structured work approach with strong solution orientation and the ability to remain calm during extensive content rollouts
• Fluent German language skills required for direct client communication; strong English proficiency for international collaboration
