Internship – Data Engineer Core Data Product – Lille (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential retail technology organization seeking a Data Engineer Intern to join their Core Data Products team in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Nord. This internship offers hands-on experience building enterprise-scale data infrastructure that powers strategic decision-making and AI models across the business.

As part of the Industry Supply Inventory team, you will work on unifying supply chain data through scalable data products. Your contributions will include:

• Contributing to technical stack strategy and ensuring CI/CD processes
• Maintaining and redesigning existing datasets and pipelines to serve broader use cases
• Designing, developing, and industrializing complex data models to enable analysis of usage patterns, quality metrics, and data maturity
• Understanding functional requirements through proactive analysis of user needs and stakeholder workflows
• Providing expert guidance to data teams on effective product utilization
• Participating actively in the data engineering community
• Promoting best practices including mob programming, TDD, and robust documentation
• Implementing monitoring and automation solutions to reduce manual workload and improve team efficiency
