Senior Data Analyst – Application Mobile E-commerce (f/m/d)

We are representing a confidential international retail organization seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Mobile E-commerce Application for their team in Lille, Nord. This is a permanent position working with a dynamic data analytics team focused on global e-commerce optimization.

Responsibilities

• Product team partnership: Serve as the key analytical partner to Product Managers throughout product lifecycles, including discovery phases, KPI definition, A/B test monitoring, and impact measurement during rollout. Provide data-driven insights to guide product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
• Generate actionable insights: Conduct proactive exploratory analyses to identify growth opportunities, optimize in-app user experience, and inform the overall mobile application strategy in close collaboration with product leadership.
• Enable teams globally: Share insights and provide training on analytics tools to support global and local teams in tracking mobile app performance.
• Tracking and technical collaboration: Define tracking requirements specific to iOS/Android environments while ensuring strict compliance with privacy standards. Engage confidently with technical teams on implementation challenges.
• Optimize conversion funnels: Apply strategic analytical expertise to enhance the entire mobile conversion funnel, from app installation through checkout to post-purchase and omnichannel features.

What We're Looking For

• E-commerce and mobile expertise: Solid knowledge of e-commerce in a retail environment with proven experience in key metrics and challenges of iOS/Android mobile applications.
• A/B testing and privacy mastery: Experience defining and analyzing A/B tests, designing tracking plans, and addressing data privacy constraints.
• Advanced data skills: Expert-level SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with Cloud/Big Data environments such as Databricks for processing and cross-referencing large data volumes.
• Technical stack experience: Familiarity with Amplitude, Statsig, Adjust, Databricks, SQL, and Tableau.
• Curious and current: Strong intellectual curiosity, active monitoring of mobile usage trends, and enthusiasm for experimenting with new analytical methodologies.
• Product optimization focus: Demonstrated ability to measure incremental value of product evolution and provide strategic recommendations to optimize customer experience.
• English fluency: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into compelling stories and interact fluently in professional English (written and spoken) within an international, collaborative environment.
• Collaborative mindset: Desire to share knowledge within the team, contribute to building data analytics expertise, and support the broader data strategy.
