About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aviation services organization seeking an Operations Manager for Field Service in Hamburg. This is a leadership role for someone ready to take operational accountability, develop technical service teams, and drive sustainable improvements in quality, customer relationships, and business performance.

Our client operates internationally with technical services focused on aircraft systems and components. You'll work in an environment that values precision, responsibility, and employee initiative, with direct decision-making authority and room to implement your ideas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop field service and warehouse teams through both technical guidance and personnel management
• Control capacities, work packages, priorities, and operational goal achievement
• Manage budgets, resources, and key performance indicators with accountability for economic results
• Analyze performance data and implement concrete measures to improve productivity, responsiveness, and quality
• Serve as primary contact for customers and partners, building sustainable business relationships
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality management processes, and aviation-specific regulations
• Identify operational risks early and maintain reliable workflows through clear communication and pragmatic decisions
• Continuously develop existing processes to create a high-performing, scalable organization

What We're Looking For

• Technical or skilled trades qualification with several years of professional and leadership experience, or comparable university degree
• Demonstrated experience leading teams with both technical and personnel management responsibilities
• Strong understanding of KPIs, processes, and business economics
• Confident customer-facing skills with clear communication and pronounced sense of accountability
• Fluent English and Class B driver's license
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally
• Experience in aviation, maintenance, technical services, or similarly regulated environments is advantageous
