Marketing & Market Research Position

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client in Vlotho, Germany, who is seeking a Marketing & Market Research professional to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an analytical, structured, and communicative individual who enjoys analyzing markets and customer needs, researching relevant information, and deriving concrete insights for marketing and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, target group, and customer analyses
• Perform systematic research and preparation of market and competitive intelligence
• Analyze and interpret market and customer data, deriving actionable insights
• Monitor and identify trends, market changes, and customer needs at an early stage
• Collect, evaluate, and clearly present comprehensive information and data
• Create presentations, market reports, and decision-making documents
• Prepare relevant insights for marketing strategies and business decisions
• Research and evaluate market and competitive databases
• Utilize analysis, CRM, statistics, or business intelligence tools

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Completed commercial training or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, Communications, or comparable field
• Knowledge of conducting market, competitor, target group, and customer analyses
• Experience in systematic research and preparation of market and competitive information
• Basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research methods
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with confident handling of numbers and statistical evaluations
• Ability to collect, evaluate, interpret, and clearly present comprehensive information and data
• Careful, independent, and transparent working style
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to present complex topics clearly
• Team player with initiative, responsibility, organizational talent, and good time management
• Good German language skills (written and spoken); English skills advantageous

Preferred:

• Professional experience in marketing, market research, market analysis, or comparable area
• Experience with analysis, CRM, statistics, or business intelligence tools
• Experience with digital marketing channels and social media
• Knowledge of web analytics and performance marketing
• Experience with market and competitive databases
• Knowledge of Power BI, Google Analytics/GA4, CRM systems, or comparable analysis tools
