Social Media Manager (m/w/d) für Sport- und Publikumsevents

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential events agency seeking a Social Media Manager to drive content and community engagement across multiple live events. You will manage social media channels for various public and sporting events, creating compelling content that connects with audiences both online and on-site.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Creating posts, reels, and stories for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook based on content plans and campaign objectives
• Managing event brand channels and engaging with online communities
• Monitoring and analyzing trends, content performance, and relevant hashtags within target audiences
• Planning and executing influencer collaborations and paid campaigns on Instagram and TikTok
• Providing live social media coverage and real-time community interaction during events
• Preparing performance reports and presentations for stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Our client values creativity, reliability, and a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate brings:

• A degree or training in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (desirable but not mandatory)
• Prior experience in social media marketing or corporate communications
• Strong working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok platforms and best practices
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Passion for storytelling, live events, and brand communications
• Creativity, language sensitivity, and a proactive mindset
• Fluent German and very good English

This is a flexible, project-based role with 40–80 hours per month depending on event cycles. You'll work remotely with opportunities to be on-site at events in Wiesbaden and occasionally at exciting locations internationally.
