About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Customer Support Specialist fluent in German and English. This Berlin-based role offers the chance to work at the intersection of customer service and product insight, handling everything from routine inquiries to complex investigative cases involving payment issues and fraud prevention. You'll collaborate across departments, influence product development through customer feedback, and grow your skills in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer support queries via calls, chat, and email as the first point of contact for German-speaking customers
• Investigate and resolve complex cases including potential fraud investigations and payment issues
• Gather customer insights from interactions and channel feedback to product teams to enhance the customer experience
• Continuously optimize internal processes and workflows to elevate service quality
• Support team operations including shift management and technical leadership tasks
• Participate in projects focused on improving the overall support experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles
• Fluent German (C1 level) and English (C1 level)
• Methodical, data-driven thinker with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of complex issues and implements preventative solutions
• Clear communicator able to explain complex topics to diverse audiences in both written and oral form, remaining composed under pressure
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong empathy for customer challenges and pain points
• Quick learner who enjoys understanding new technologies, processes, and financial workflows
