Product Owner – Agentic

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Product Owner to lead their agentic AI product suite. In this senior role, you will own the complete roadmap for intelligent automation products used in compliance and risk operations—spanning investigation tools, customer verification workflows, regulatory reporting systems, and the underlying platform infrastructure.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end product roadmap from backlog prioritization through delivery, serving as the final decision-maker on what ships and when
• Shaping multi-year product vision and strategy in partnership with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across complementary product lines
• Driving commercial outcomes through pricing strategy, packaging decisions, and revenue impact analysis as core elements of the role
• Representing the product externally in customer advisory sessions, competitive assessments, industry analyst briefings, and enterprise deal support
• Coordinating integration touchpoints with adjacent screening, fraud prevention, and verification product teams to ensure seamless capability delivery
• Maintaining clear product documentation, briefing materials, and regular updates that keep engineering, commercial teams, and customers aligned on direction and rationale
• Running disciplined agile delivery processes with development and data science teams, maintaining planning rigor without excess overhead

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with real depth in both product delivery and the financial crime prevention domain:

• 3–5 years in Product Owner or Product Manager capacity
• 3–5 years working within financial services, particularly in anti-financial crime functions such as AML compliance, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, or customer due diligence
• Proven experience building agentic or autonomous AI products in regulated settings, with working knowledge of explainability requirements, safety constraints, accuracy monitoring, and bias mitigation
• Strong execution instincts: you run effective agile processes that adapt to change without sacrificing planning quality or creating firefighting situations
• Sharp prioritization judgment under pressure—you scope and defend scope decisions based on a clear quality standard, understanding when speed matters and when rigor does
• Commercial fluency: pricing, packaging, and revenue modeling are tools you use actively, not afterthoughts delegated elsewhere
• Clear communication skills with a point of view on where agentic AI in financial crime is heading, able to articulate both strategic vision and tactical implementation details
• Active curiosity about the evolving AI landscape, translating emerging capabilities into practical roadmap opportunities rather than chasing trends
• Customer and stakeholder orientation: you engage directly with users, treat feedback—including critical input—as valuable signal, and balance external customer needs with internal engineering and business perspectives

Location: Munich. This role requires presence in the local market.
