About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their experienced design team in Berlin. Our client is building the next generation of finance automation products, leveraging AI to transform how finance professionals work. This is a strategic design role where you'll shape products that combine artificial intelligence with human expertise to deliver accuracy and trust.

You'll join a collaborative team of designers based across multiple European cities, working on complex products that serve mid-sized businesses. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product design and AI, building solutions that drive measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Design next-generation accounting and finance products where AI agents and professionals collaborate seamlessly
• Build deep understanding of complex problem spaces alongside product management, engineering, and domain experts
• Create customer-ready demos as core design artifacts, working fluidly between code and design tools
• Conduct continuous user testing with finance professionals to validate assumptions and iterate on solutions
• Elevate design quality across the team through design reviews, critiques, and knowledge sharing
• Identify and solve opportunities that drive growth across multiple European markets
• Contribute to evolving design systems, component libraries, and team processes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience designing complex B2B products end-to-end in collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, customer-centricity, and visual craft
• Experience with evaluative research spanning planning, execution, and synthesis
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in your design workflow and enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging technologies
• Expert-level craft in maintaining design quality while leveraging design systems effectively
• Ability to balance velocity with thoughtfulness, making strategic decisions about prioritization
• Deep empathy for users with ability to translate insights into intuitive solutions
• Strategic thinking that balances long-term vision with short-term impact
• Growth mindset with ability to seek and provide constructive feedback
• Clear communication skills and ability to present ideas confidently to cross-functional stakeholders
