About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology client in their search for an Automation Engineer based in München. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility with a professional team environment.
Our client operates within the sustainable energy sector, working through a certified network of local trade partners. They are scaling rapidly and need technical automation expertise to optimize their partnership workflows, capacity planning, and operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for partner network management and capacity allocation systems
- Develop data-driven tools and dashboards to monitor network performance, regional coverage, and utilization metrics
- Build automated workflows for partner onboarding, pricing management, and contract processing
- Create KPI tracking mechanisms and reporting systems to improve transparency across the partner ecosystem
- Integrate CRM systems with operational tools to streamline partnership management processes
- Optimize internal processes through automation, reducing manual touchpoints and improving efficiency
- Collaborate with partnership, operations, and technical teams to identify automation opportunities
- Maintain and scale existing automation infrastructure as the organization grows
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in automation engineering, process optimization, or similar technical roles
- Strong proficiency with automation tools, scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar), and workflow platforms
- Experience with CRM systems, data integration, and API development
- Ability to work with KPIs, analytics, and data visualization tools to drive business insights
- Understanding of operational processes in partner or account management contexts is a plus
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments where you take ownership of projects
- Excellent communication skills in German (C2 level required) and good English proficiency
- Experience in the trades sector (electrical, HVAC) or renewable energy industry is beneficial but not required
