Art Director (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency seeking an experienced Art Director to join their team in Dresden. In this role, you will:

• Develop innovative concepts and visual ideas for campaigns, brand identities, and digital products
• Lead the creative team, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development
• Evaluate creative work, copy, and visuals to ensure the highest quality standards
• Present and defend creative ideas both internally and to clients
• Integrate current design trends, technologies, and AI-supported tools into workflows
• Collaborate closely with project management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient processes

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a creative leader with:

• Completed studies or training in graphic design, communication design, or motion design – or equivalent experience
• Several years of agency experience as a Senior Graphic Designer or Art Director
• Experience in motion design, 3D visualization, UX/UI, or content creation
• Strong sense of style, aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling
• Prior experience leading teams and taking on leadership responsibility
• Passion for innovative ideas and concepts with a commitment to creative excellence
• Knowledge of production processes and mastery of industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Enthusiasm for modern technologies such as generative AI to support creative processes
• Strong German language skills, both written and verbal
• Portfolio of work samples required with application
