Responsibilities
We are representing a leading SAP consulting organization specializing in global supply chain and manufacturing transformations. Our talent team is seeking a Sales Manager to own the full sales cycle within the SAP Supply Chain ecosystem.
You will drive business development from initial prospecting through contract closure and account expansion. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing and post-sale growth
- Actively acquiring new customers in industrial sectors
- Developing strategic relationships with existing accounts
- Identifying and qualifying transformation opportunities in supply chain and manufacturing domains
- Collaborating with marketing and solution teams to design and execute sales campaigns
- Preparing and negotiating proposals for complex SAP implementation projects ranging from €500k to over €5 million
- Managing bid processes and coordinating cross-functional proposal teams
- Positioning the firm as a trusted advisor to C-level executives (CIO, COO, Head of Supply Chain)
- Working closely with consulting teams to develop tailored solutions for client challenges
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a candidate with proven enterprise software sales experience and supply chain domain knowledge:
- Multiple years of experience in consulting sales or SAP solution sales
- Knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Management solutions such as EWM, TM, IBP, or Digital Manufacturing
- Demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-value deals
- Experience engaging and influencing C-level decision-makers
- Hunter mentality combined with strategic thinking capabilities
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex business requirements in a structured manner
- High level of self-motivation, goal orientation, and accountability
- Willingness to travel as projects require
- Fluency in both German and English
