Software Engineer, Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology client in a critical analytics engineering hire. Our client is focused on clinical AI/ML solutions that support care delivery teams with real-time insights. This Software Engineer, Analytics role will be instrumental in building the analytics infrastructure that powers product performance monitoring, clinical case reviews, and data-driven decision making across their growing customer base.

As Get A Job.ai's talent team works with this organization, we're seeking an experienced analytics engineer who can architect scalable solutions on AWS, work with sensitive healthcare data, and collaborate across clinical, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement analytics infrastructure, queries, and automation to monitor product KPIs and success metrics across multiple clinical domains and healthcare organizations
• Build frameworks and tools that enable clinical teams to independently review and investigate cases, including identifying cases meeting specific criteria for deeper evaluation
• Drive technical improvements to the data platform to support scalability as product offerings and client base expand
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success, Clinical, Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to establish company-wide alignment on product analytics standards
• Ensure all analytics systems maintain proper security and compliance standards for PHI/PII data handling

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5+ years building scalable, secure analytics infrastructure and tools on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data models and queries
• Deep knowledge of modern data technologies including cloud data warehouses, transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt), workflow orchestration tools, and BI platforms like Tableau or Quicksight
• Demonstrated experience working with sensitive data containing PHI/PII
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to translate cross-functional requirements into technical solutions

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leveraging LLMs in distributed data processing and analytics systems
• Background building analytics technology specifically for clinical or health data
• Comfort operating in startup environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements
