Senior Loan Fulfillment Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consumer finance organization that is seeking a Senior Loan Fulfillment Specialist to join their fully remote team. This is a critical role in managing loan application workflows from submission through decisioning, ensuring both applicant satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

This position operates within a fully digital lending environment and plays a key part in shaping the applicant experience. You'll bring professionalism and care to every interaction while maintaining high standards for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process loan applications from submission through decisioning, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Handle applicant calls with care and urgency, ensuring applicants feel supported and informed throughout the process
• Review, validate, and process critical documents including proof of income and identification to ensure compliance and authenticity prior to decisioning
• Conduct daily follow-up outreach via phone and email to applicants whose applications are pending documentation or information
• Review applications with new documentation or information provided by applicants
• Follow up on applications escalated for fraud review that have not been responded to within 24 hours
• Maintain high levels of efficiency, quality, and speed while meeting deadlines and SLAs without increasing risk exposure
• Proactively identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or fraud indicators and take appropriate action
• Collaborate cross-functionally with fraud, BPO, and operations teams to ensure alignment on processes and decisioning
• Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions for improvement
• Monitor and respond to team communications and attend scheduled huddles, meetings, and training
• Complete all compliance training assignments and review QA scorecards as needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience working in a loan origination environment
• Proven ability to handle large application volumes while maintaining accuracy
• Comfortable managing application/case work alongside inbound phone calls
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Adaptability to changing priorities and process updates
• Strong team collaboration skills and personal accountability
• Problem-solving capabilities and sound escalation judgment
• A positive, can-do mindset with curiosity about how your work impacts the applicant journey
• Ability to work Main Shift hours: 9AM - 6PM EST (occasional weekends required)
• Must be located within the USA; visa sponsorship is not available

Please note: Training shift is 8AM - 5PM PST / 11AM - 8PM EST for approximately 6 weeks.

Pay

This is an hourly, full-time position. The annualized compensation based on 40-hour work weeks ranges from $48,000 to $55,000 USD. The client offers quarterly bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with matching, generous PTO, 12 weeks paid parental leave, company-paid disability and life insurance, and a monthly tech stipend for remote work.
