About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential IoT technology organization seeking an Account Executive, Select (Majors) to join their UK sales division based in London. This role focuses on driving revenue growth within major enterprise accounts that represent significant addressable opportunities in the connected operations space.
You'll be working with organizations across industries including transportation, construction, field services, and manufacturing—helping them harness IoT data to transform their physical operations. This position requires someone who can evangelize transformative technology and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles with deals exceeding £1M+ ARR.
While remote working is supported, flexibility to travel across the region for customer visits is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within strategic, named enterprise accounts
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to close
- Execute solution-based sales processes in complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns
- Mobilize cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, IT, Solution Engineers, and Account Development Representatives
- Conduct targeted prospecting and strategic pursuit activities, demonstrating a hunter mentality for new logo acquisition
- Navigate enterprise-level decision-making processes involving C-suite stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a full-cycle Account Executive role closing enterprise sales
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts with £1M+ ARR transactions
- Demonstrated experience handling enterprise deal sizes and building C-level relationships
- Value/Challenger selling methodology experience
- Strategic pursuit and targeted prospecting skills with a true hunter mentality
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and capacity to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Collaborative mindset with strong team orientation and growth mentality
Ideal candidates also have:
- Recognition for top sales achievement (President's Club, Winner's Circle, Top 10%)
- Experience selling complex technology solutions (IoT, SaaS, Telco, or similar) to enterprise customers
- Passion for transformational technology and solving novel problems innovatively
- Natural curiosity about how different businesses operate across varied industries
