Senior CRM / Lifecycle Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobile gaming client based in Konstanz, Germany, seeking a Senior CRM / Lifecycle Manager to take full ownership of post-acquisition player engagement and retention strategy. This role is critical to transforming app installs into loyal, high-value users through sophisticated lifecycle marketing programs.

You will build and optimize the entire lifecycle funnel from the ground up, drive retention curves and player lifetime value to new heights, minimize churn, and maximize the return on every marketing euro invested. This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who thrives in building scalable retention engines within mobile-first consumer applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize daily lifecycle campaigns across push notifications, email, and in-app messaging using CleverTap
• Design, implement, and manage automated customer journeys covering onboarding, activation, retention, winback, and monetization phases
• Develop behavioral and lifecycle-based segmentation and targeting logic to ensure the right message reaches users at the right time
• Conduct systematic A/B tests on messaging, timing, channels, and offers, with thorough documentation of learnings
• Analyze retention curves, cohorts, engagement metrics, churn, and LTV; build dashboards in collaboration with the data team
• Own the strategic direction of the post-acquisition player journey and the entire lifecycle funnel
• Collaborate closely with marketing, user acquisition, social media, data, and product teams on joint initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and responsible gaming principles specific to the gaming industry

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience:

• Deep, hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as CleverTap, Braze, Leanplum, Iterable, or MoEngage, including independent technical campaign execution
• Proven track record in cross-channel mobile communication via push notifications, email, and in-app messaging
• Strong expertise in behavioral segmentation and end-to-end development and rollout of multi-stage automated customer journeys
• Practical experience designing, analyzing, and iteratively optimizing A/B tests and experiments
• Proficiency with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4), dashboard creation, and analysis of data models, retention curves, and cohorts
• Solid understanding of mobile lifecycle KPIs including churn, LTV, DAU/MAU, and retention rates
• Fluent German and very good English for daily team collaboration
• 3–5 years of professional experience in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing
• Strong background in B2C consumer apps with a mobile-first, install-driven business model
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical qualification

Preferred Background:

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as gaming, fintech, or iGaming
• Track record building lifecycle marketing infrastructure from an early or lean starting point
