IT-Systemadministrator:in (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in Landau seeking an IT System Administrator to manage and advance their technical infrastructure. You will take ownership of critical IT systems while collaborating closely with internal teams and end users.

Infrastructure & Systems:

• Manage and continuously develop the complete IT infrastructure, including virtual server environments, host systems, and VMware platforms
• Administer network and firewall infrastructure based on Unifi, Aruba, and Fortigate technologies
• Oversee backup infrastructure using Veeam, ensuring system reliability and availability
• Support telephony systems, mobile device management, and other central IT systems

Modern Workplace & Automation:

• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment including Intune, Entra ID, device management, software deployment, and mail security
• Manage Active Directory environments, user administration, permissions, and group policies
• Automate processes using PowerShell, Power Automate, and Power Apps to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to develop practical solutions that streamline workflows

Support & Collaboration:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support to employees, diagnosing IT issues and delivering clear, effective solutions
• Help colleagues work safely and efficiently with hardware and software
• Document IT processes and support the rollout of new systems and applications
• Guide employees through changes in the digital work environment, making new solutions accessible and practical

What We're Looking For

• Background in system administration, IT infrastructure, or IT support through vocational training, university studies, or equivalent professional experience
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, server environments, or endpoint management
• Experience with technologies such as VMware, Intune, Active Directory, Veeam, or PowerShell is highly desirable
• Interest in developing and automating existing IT processes
• Structured and independent working style with strong collaborative skills
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical users without jargon
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• German language proficiency required for this role in Landau
