AI Lead (m/w/d) | GenAI, Presales & AI Leadership

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international technology consultancy with strong presence across data, AI and digital transformation. This AI Lead role will shape how generative AI, LLMs and intelligent automation evolve within the German market.

You will lead AI presales activities and strategic client conversations, working closely with enterprise customers, local sales teams and an international AI practice. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading AI presales activities and strategic customer discussions with senior and C-level stakeholders
• Developing AI, GenAI and LLM solutions based on concrete business requirements
• Delivering presentations, workshops and solution discussions to enterprise clients
• Supporting pitches, proposals, RFPs and solution architecture initiatives
• Leading and developing an experienced AI team in Germany
• Collaborating with international AI and data experts across the organization
• Co-creating new AI offerings, use cases and business opportunities
• Representing our client at customer meetings, events and industry conferences

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a candidate with:

• Solid experience in AI, machine learning, GenAI and large language models
• Background in consulting, presales or comparable client-facing roles
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
• Experience working with enterprise customers, ideally in manufacturing, automotive, pharma, retail or financial services
• Leadership experience or strong track record in technical team leadership
• Native or near-native German language skills
• Professional English for collaboration in an international environment
• Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings

We are particularly interested in profiles from AI consulting, data science, solution architecture, value engineering or AI practice leadership backgrounds.

This is not a purely technical leadership position. We need someone who understands AI deeply, can convince customers and translate technology into concrete business opportunities.
