We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Strategy & Operations professional based in Munich, Germany. This is a unique opportunity to shape market strategy and drive measurable growth outcomes in one of Europe's most dynamic technology sectors.

Our client operates at the forefront of artificial intelligence development and deployment. This individual contributor role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focusing primarily on consumer markets with opportunities to create impact across business segments. You'll develop country-level strategies for key European markets, align cross-functional teams, and personally drive initiatives from conception through measurement.

The position is based in Munich or Berlin with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the office. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive country strategies, priorities, and forecasts for European markets, translating organizational objectives into actionable local plans
  • Drive growth and conversion initiatives using data analysis, customer insights, and experimentation to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization metrics
  • Lead market expansion and localization efforts by identifying opportunities, building scalable launch frameworks, and determining where products and go-to-market approaches require adaptation
  • Move strategic initiatives from diagnosis and prioritization through to delivery, measurement, and iteration with personal accountability for outcomes
  • Align cross-functional teams across Product, Growth, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, Research, Operations, and Compliance around shared objectives
  • Represent European market perspectives and customer insights to inform global roadmaps and strategic decisions
  • Define success metrics and determine when successful local approaches should be scaled across regions

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, business operations, or quantitative analytics with demonstrated responsibility for measurable outcomes
  • Proven track record developing country, regional, or multi-market strategies and translating them into focused execution plans
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including forecasting, financial modeling, and growth metrics analysis
  • Demonstrated examples of personally taking initiatives from initial insight through launch and measurement
  • Deep understanding of European markets while maintaining regional and scalable perspectives
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and teams without formal authority
  • High ownership mentality and ability to operate with urgency in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments
  • Genuine interest in artificial intelligence and alignment with mission-driven technology development
