We are representing a confidential SaaS client that is expanding their engineering presence in the UK. Our client specializes in enterprise automation solutions and is experiencing rapid growth across multiple markets. We're seeking a Software Engineer who thrives on ownership and wants to make direct impact on products used by global organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into product improvements
  • Design and develop clean, maintainable, high-quality software using functional programming patterns
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
  • Guide technical direction for major initiatives and shape product evolution
  • Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing
  • Work with a modern tech stack including Golang, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture
  • Product thinking: ability to translate business problems into precise requirements and specifications
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to link daily work to team and company goals
  • Strong sense of ownership over technical work and product outcomes
  • Team-oriented approach with proactive support for team goals
  • Excellent abstraction skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to different stakeholders
  • Experience with Golang, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (GCS, AWS, or Azure) is highly valued
