Account Executive DACH – Mid-Market (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential European fintech organization in their search for a talented Account Executive to join their growing DACH sales team in Berlin. Our client provides treasury and financial management solutions to mid-market companies across Europe.

In this role, you will drive new business development by acquiring new logos within the mid-market segment. Working closely with Business Development, SDR teams, and Partnership Managers, you will be responsible for building a robust pipeline and closing deals that meet ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sectoral development strategies in collaboration with SDR team members
• Identify and target mid-market companies that would benefit from treasury management solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase value to prospective clients
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
• Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics with management to identify improvement areas
• Provide feedback to Marketing, Business Development, and Product teams
• Share commercial expertise and contribute ideas to enhance team performance

What We're Looking For

• Native or bilingual German language skills required
• 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS and mid-market space
• Background in finance, audit, consulting, or transaction services is a strong plus
• Educational background from a top business or engineering school
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Tenacious, resilient approach with strong results orientation
• Ability to understand business leaders' cash flow and treasury needs
• Strong analytical and communication skills with high intellectual curiosity
• Excellent business acumen and interpersonal abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with desire to share knowledge and help colleagues grow
