German speaking Support Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a German-speaking Support Specialist for their Belfast location. Our client operates a global commerce platform serving hospitality businesses, and this role will be your first point of contact for customers requiring technical assistance across hardware, software, and general platform education.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to hospitality customers via phone, chat, and email
• Work within a 24x7 global support team across multiple time zones
• Maintain flexibility with working days and shifts, including weekend availability
• Use systematic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently
• Document, track, and resolve customer interactions within support platforms
• Identify, reproduce, and escalate product issues and bugs to appropriate teams
• Track escalated issues through to resolution, keeping customers informed throughout
• Advocate for product and service improvements based on customer feedback
• Operate within scheduled rosters to ensure consistent customer support availability

What We're Looking For

Essential requirements:

• Previous customer service or technical support experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to exceptional customer experience
• Basic experience using common platforms: iOS, Android, macOS, Windows

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with phone, email, ticketing, and live chat support platforms
• Knowledge of or experience in the hospitality industry
• Experience supporting SaaS products or iOS applications
• Computer networking experience or strong interest in networking concepts
• Working knowledge of macOS and basic HTML/CSS
• Additional language skills in Dutch or French
