About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology consultancy based in Cologne. They are seeking a Senior TypeScript Developer to join their team working on full-stack applications and digital transformation projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor growing developers, and work with modern JavaScript frameworks in a collaborative environment.
The position is available as remote, office-based in Cologne, or hybrid—whatever arrangement supports your best work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Nuxt3, and Vue
- Collaborate with product managers to architect and implement projects within agile teams
- Lead technical initiatives from concept through production deployment
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
- Propose and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve development practices
- Take ownership of the entire stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services
- Write production-ready code that meets high quality standards through peer review processes
What We're Looking For
- Advanced experience with TypeScript or JavaScript in production environments
- Strong working knowledge of Nuxt and Vue frameworks
- Full-stack development confidence across frontend and backend technologies
- Demonstrated ability to independently complete projects and deliver results
- Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced developers
- Commitment to code quality, best practices, and pragmatic problem-solving
- Strong English communication skills (German is a bonus)
- Willingness to participate in a practical coding challenge during the interview process
