About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their Merchant Experience team in Paris. Our client operates in the payment orchestration space, helping global merchants build and optimize their payment infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex technical implementations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to merchants during solution implementation
- Plan and manage integration projects from start to finish
- Answer integration-related questions covering configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live support
- Manage incidents related to integrations including investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution
- Partner with account managers, technical support, and engineering teams to resolve customer issues
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Advise management on project statuses and potential issues impacting customer satisfaction
- Maintain and update merchant-facing documentation to reduce implementation friction
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and integrations for key customers
What We're Looking For
Required:
- In-depth technical knowledge including SaaS platforms, web services, APIs, web applications, mobile apps, and IT infrastructure
- Native-level French or English communication skills with strong business acumen
- Ability to read and analyze server and application logs and debug errors
- Strong experience working with REST HTTP APIs
- Proven project management experience, ideally in customer onboarding
- Ability to investigate and solve complex technical problems
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a similar role at a technology company
- Knowledge of the online payments industry
- Prior customer service experience in a merchant-facing role
- Advanced data analytics skills with proficiency in sophisticated tools
- Experience with JavaScript for building application scripts
- Ability to read and understand Golang code
