Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential UK-based digital services organization seeking a skilled Joomla Developer & Hosting Manager to oversee a large portfolio of client websites and hosting infrastructure. Your focus will be on proactive management of website security, platform migrations, plugin compatibility, and hosting stability across approximately 250 live sites.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of Joomla-based websites and hosting environments
- Proactively manage CMS migrations and core platform updates
- Monitor, test, and deploy plugin updates while ensuring compatibility
- Identify and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities across the infrastructure
- Manage cPanel hosting environments and server configurations
- Perform PHP version migrations and compatibility testing as required
- Support the design, development, and build of new website projects
What We're Looking For
Our client needs someone with:
- Strong hands-on experience with the Joomla CMS platform
- Proven experience managing cPanel hosting environments
- Working knowledge of PHP version migrations and compatibility requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing CMS updates, migrations, and plugin ecosystems
- A proactive approach to website security, monitoring, and preventative maintenance
- Website design and development experience (highly advantageous)
