People & Admin Ops.

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization in the Paris region. This is a founding-stage People & Admin Ops role where you'll build HR and administrative systems from the ground up as the organization scales rapidly. You'll work in a newly launched medical facility and report to senior leadership, designing every touchpoint of the employee experience with a focus on simplicity and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the full employee journey: onboarding, probation tracking, performance review cycles, feedback mechanisms, and engagement monitoring
• Create documentation and operational processes that are clear, user-friendly, and scalable
• Identify friction points and automate recurring processes, leveraging AI tools to multiply impact
• Manage People administration: leave tracking, absence management, payroll coordination, contracting, employee administrative follow-up, and benefits affiliations
• Ensure GDPR compliance across all People operations
• Handle operational finance tasks: expense processing, preparing accounting documents, and coordinating routine filings including VAT
• Over time, take ownership of payroll management in partnership with an accounting firm, with full training provided

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 5-6+ years of hands-on People Ops experience, comfortable with administrative topics and managing relationships with accounting partners
• Previous experience in a fast-scaling startup or scale-up environment, ideally helping build People processes during significant growth phases
• Business curiosity and ability to connect People work to broader organizational goals
• Versatility across People and Corporate/Admin domains, with strong People focus
• Exceptional attention to detail and operational rigor
• High autonomy: you identify problems, propose solutions, and know when to escalate
• Proven track record of automating and improving recurring processes; genuine enthusiasm for AI applications
• Comfort engaging with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Based in Paris or Île-de-France, able to work onsite three or more days per week

Ideal:

• MedTech or healthcare startup experience
• Familiarity with the medical sector through professional or personal exposure
