This is a true hunter role focused on new business acquisition within Enterprise accounts (1,000+ employees). You'll manage the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through close, working with a collaborative team-selling model that includes sales engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition in the Enterprise segment through full-cycle sales ownership
- Generate and source more than 50% of your own pipeline through proactive outbound efforts
- Conduct sophisticated discovery conversations that connect technical requirements to executive business priorities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and build business cases that resonate with C-level stakeholders
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and create consensus for strategic technology decisions
- Execute competitive displacement strategies against legacy platform technologies
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and real-time CRM hygiene
- Travel approximately 25% for customer engagements and industry events
- Collaborate with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams in a team-selling environment
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle closing experience in Enterprise SaaS sales
- Proven track record closing multiple deals exceeding €100,000 ACV
- History of consistently overachieving annual quotas of €1M+
- Experience selling complex platform technologies in sales-led GTM motions
- Demonstrated success with competitive rip-and-replace opportunities
- Strong self-sourcing capabilities with confidence generating your own pipeline
- Experience selling across multiple EMEA regions
- Native or business-fluent German and English (written and verbal)
- Currently based in Germany
Ideal Candidate Strengths:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Strong business acumen connecting technical problems to downstream business impacts
- Product curiosity and willingness to develop deep product knowledge
- Detail-oriented approach to both customer interactions and internal operations
- Action-oriented and persistent in pursuing opportunities
- Adaptable and creative when building new markets or refining playbooks
- Collaborative mindset aligned with team-selling approaches
Bonus: Experience selling to Talent Acquisition or People Operations leaders
This role may not be the right fit if you:
- Prefer account management or install-base selling over new business hunting
- Expect marketing or SDR teams to source all pipeline opportunities
- Avoid product learning in favor of pure relationship selling
- Work best with fully established playbooks rather than building strategies
- Prefer independent selling over collaborative team models
