Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential real estate group based in Cologne, seeking an experienced Group Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) with consolidation expertise. In this role, you will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the parent company
- Prepare tax returns for the parent company
- Create consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB (German commercial code)
- Contribute to the preparation of annual business reports
- Take responsibility for various finance-related project assignments
- Coordinate with national and international entities and establish uniform group-wide accounting processes
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, and Accounting, OR completed certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d)
- Professional experience in controlling, finance, and accounting or a comparable position within a group, corporation, or multi-location organization
- Fluent German and English language skills (negotiation-level)
- Strong analytical abilities, structured thinking, and a high degree of initiative
- Independent working style combined with strong teamwork skills
- Experience with consolidation processes
