Business Ops Intern – People & Culture (f/m/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobility technology organization seeking a Business Operations Intern focused on People & Culture. In this role, you will support the full employee lifecycle while gaining exposure to cross-functional business operations in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting recruiting activities by managing job board postings, monitoring candidate communications, and helping streamline the hiring process
• Owning key administrative tasks in onboarding and offboarding, maintaining materials, supporting exit interviews, and preparing employment references
• Assisting with contract creation and personnel data management in the HRIS system (Personio)
• Helping optimize internal processes using AI and automation tools
• Contributing to internal communications, employer branding initiatives, and organizing team events that strengthen company culture
• Supporting day-to-day office management and creating a welcoming workspace that encourages collaboration
• Participating in cross-functional projects to develop skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and end-to-end business operations

What We're Looking For

• Completed or ongoing Master's degree, ideally in Business, Economics, or a related field
• Genuine interest in processes, projects, and People & Culture functions
• Availability for a 6-month internship with in-office presence 3-4 days per week in Munich
• Excellent German and English skills (at least B2+ level)
• Previous internship or working student experience in HR or Operations is a plus (ideally in consulting, start-up, tech, or automotive sectors)
• Structured and independent working style with strong attention to detail
• Hands-on, can-do mindset comfortable with both administrative tasks and project work
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and an open, approachable manner
• True team player with curiosity and eagerness to learn
