Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a working student to support their policy, communication, and regulatory affairs team in Berlin. In this role, you will:

  • Draft position papers, briefings, and social media content (e.g., LinkedIn posts) to communicate policy positions
  • Monitor legislative changes, policy developments, and political discussions, preparing concise summaries for the team and management
  • Contribute ideas for political positioning and the evolution of public affairs strategy
  • Support the advancement of energy policy objectives and communicate positions effectively to political decision-makers
  • Take responsibility for organizing and managing political events

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a candidate with:

  • Active enrollment in a degree program in political science, economics, energy economics, communication studies, journalism, or a related field
  • A hands-on mentality, team player attitude, and ability to implement tasks quickly
  • Enthusiasm for economic concepts and technologies related to renewable energy and electrification
  • Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, and solid understanding of political processes
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to voice your opinion
  • Eagerness to dive into new topics and technical debates around energy policy, with the ability to present findings concisely and clearly
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Availability of at least 16 hours per week, with willingness to spend most working time in the office
  • Very good German and English language skills
