Senior Frontend Engineer (Web & App)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing organization in their search for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their growing Rewards Tech team in Maidstone. Our client operates high-traffic consumer platforms and is looking for an engineer who can own the frontend experience across web and mobile applications.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in their Maidstone office. You'll be responsible for shipping revenue-driving features, building robust testing infrastructure, and elevating the user experience across multiple consumer-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend across web applications and mobile apps, from build through to release
• Ship new functionality that drives revenue and retention, collaborating closely with product and backend teams
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests to ensure staging stability and predictable releases
• Raise the standard of web and app UX across consumer reward platforms
• Work full stack where beneficial, partnering with backend developers on Python services
• Contribute to the overall technical direction and best practices of the frontend codebase

What We're Looking For

• 6-10 years of professional frontend engineering experience
• Production-grade expertise with React and TypeScript for web applications
• Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile apps, ideally with React Native across iOS and Android
• Strong eye for UX and design—you care deeply about how products feel, not just functionality
• Experience owning end-to-end and staging test automation as part of your delivery workflow
• Comfortable working across the stack; Python experience is a strong plus
• Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to share knowledge and mentor others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Thrives in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments
