Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential analytics software organization seeking a Working Student to support their Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will:

  • Support day-to-day analytics work by taking on analyses, reports, and fixes as priorities shift week to week
  • Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and keep scheduled pipelines running as data sources evolve
  • Create Data Apps and Reports that teams across the organization use to answer their own questions
  • Research questions from internal stakeholders and deliver actionable answers
  • Improve existing workflows, Data Apps, and Reports through performance optimization, cleanup, and documentation
  • Own your tasks end to end: scope requirements upfront, execute independently, and deliver clear results

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who brings:

  • Current enrollment at a university or Hochschule in Berlin, with at least 12 months of study remaining
  • Availability of at least 16 hours per week, including two days on-site in their Kreuzberg office
  • Working knowledge of KNIME and data science fundamentals
  • Solid SQL and database basics
  • Independent research skills: ability to find sources, judge relevance, and deliver answers rather than link lists
  • Experience drafting Data Apps and Reports with AI support, with ability to explain the results
  • High degree of independence: self-structuring work, unblocking yourself through documentation and research, and knowing when to ask for help
  • Care and reliability when working on deliverables others depend on
  • Fluent English

Preferred qualifications:

  • KNIME L3 certification
  • Experience with schedules, spaces, and deployments in KNIME
  • Python or JavaScript for small snippets and custom visualizations
  • German language skills
