About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that is transforming enterprise planning through innovative technology. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their London office and contribute to building sophisticated user experiences for complex business applications.
This is a hybrid role based in London, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge features including AI-powered workflows, advanced data visualizations, and proprietary design systems. You'll collaborate with talented engineers and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user interfaces for client-facing features, ensuring high-quality and performant UI delivery
- Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to design, develop, and deliver new features while offering technical input on API design and data handling
- Implement and enhance AI-driven capabilities that assist users with complex workflows and generate actionable insights
- Develop advanced data visualizations including charts, maps, and dashboards that provide users with real-time, interactive insights
- Contribute to and maintain the internal design system, including custom caching mechanisms and advanced state management solutions
- Balance delivering new features with ongoing maintenance and performance optimization
- Proactively identify and resolve issues while ensuring continuous delivery and improving technical processes
- Work on technology migration projects, evaluating and adopting new technologies to keep the platform modern and efficient
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a software engineer working on production systems
- Proven expertise in building scalable UIs with React and TypeScript
- Track record of collaborating with backend engineers to shape API design and optimize data consumption
- Experience working with design systems, performance optimization, and handling large datasets
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to translate complex functional requirements into elegant designs and high-quality code
- Comfortable working across teams to ensure frontend experience aligns with backend capabilities
- Fluent English required
Technical environment: React, TypeScript, Vitest, Cypress, Vite, custom design systems and state management solutions
Key challenges: Balancing feature delivery with system maintenance, implementing real-time updates, managing large-scale data visualizations, and influencing API design for seamless frontend-backend integration
