Senior Marketing Consultant – Schwerpunkt SEO (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Hamburg seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant with strong SEO expertise. In this role, you will take full ownership of strategic and operational SEO client accounts, driving measurable results through innovative optimization approaches.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Independently managing demanding SEO client accounts from strategy through execution
• Developing data-driven SEO strategies and deriving actionable recommendations to increase visibility, traffic, and business impact
• Leading complex SEO projects with responsibility for quality, priorities, timelines, and economic viability
• Identifying cross-channel growth and optimization opportunities in collaboration with specialists from other disciplines
• Providing proactive consultation to clients and building long-term client relationships
• Creating meaningful reports, analyses, and compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in search engine optimization, spanning technical SEO, content, and strategic consulting
• Proven experience independently managing complex client accounts
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data-based SEO strategies
• Strong analytical skills with experience creating reports and deriving concrete action recommendations
• Excellent consulting and communication abilities with confident client-facing presence

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Agency environment experience and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AI Search, and applying AI in SEO contexts
• Initial experience providing technical guidance or mentoring colleagues
• Very good English language skills
• Completed degree or comparable training in marketing, communications, business, or related field
