About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization based in Hamburg. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT projects with societal impact. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse technologies and guide interdisciplinary teams through complex digital transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large IT projects from conception to delivery using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to translate client requirements into new and existing IT solutions and processes; act as Product Owner in agile project setups
  • Deliver projects across diverse technological environments including CMS, form management systems, low-code platforms, custom application development, workplace solutions, and cloud technologies
  • Support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle on digital transformation initiatives and provide consultation on appropriate solutions
  • Manage large interdisciplinary project teams and coordinate interfaces between various stakeholders
  • Design and facilitate client workshops, developing strategies for efficient implementation of digital solutions
  • Identify optimization opportunities in internal and external collaboration, develop targeted recommendations, and proactively shape change processes
  • Advance project management methodologies and provide guidance to PM colleagues through functional leadership responsibilities

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management with demonstrated project leadership capabilities
  • Strong command of agile or classical project methodologies; certification preferred (PMI/PMP, Prince2, IPMA, Scrum PSPO/PSM, LeSS, or SAFe Agilist)
  • Passion for delivering outstanding IT projects including websites, intranets, apps, digital application systems, or specialized business applications
  • Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and client engagement with strong intuition for client needs and business development opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate all levels of project organization and explain complex topics clearly to different audiences
  • Completed university degree
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Interest in projects with societal relevance and impact
