Senior Full Stack Developer (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential eMobility technology organization seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team in Berlin. This role offers the opportunity to build cloud-native applications that support electric vehicle infrastructure at scale. You'll work across the full technology stack—from backend services to user interfaces—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript
• Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code principles and software engineering best practices
• Develop and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization and continuous improvement efforts
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, Architects and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while improving application reliability, scalability and security
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to establishing engineering best practices across the team

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience developing full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and SCSS
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, distributed systems and modern software design patterns
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Git in cloud-native environments
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Redis
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
• Solid knowledge of clean code principles, secure software development and performance optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and ownership mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Berlin with 1-2 days per week onsite and the remainder remote. The role is available to start as soon as possible for the right candidate.
