We are representing a leading European e-commerce platform in the home and living sector. Our client is seeking a Working Student to join their Category Management team in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about product curation, retail analytics, and the home décor industry to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.

This permanent part-time position offers direct exposure to assortment planning, brand partnerships, and data-driven merchandising strategies within premium lifestyle categories.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting products from premium and contemporary home and living brands for the online shop portfolio
• Conduct weekly and monthly analysis of category performance metrics to support sales targets
• Research competitor assortments and market trends in designated product categories
• Support the development and execution of assortment strategies within defined categories
• Collaborate with experienced Category Managers to learn best practices in building compelling product ranges
• Maintain and optimize the existing product offering to ensure business objectives are met

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Management, or related degree programme
• Genuine passion for home and living products with a strong aesthetic sense and trend awareness
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with high motivation and eagerness to learn
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
