Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI-powered communications platform seeking a Software Engineer to join their London team. In this full-stack role, you will help build and maintain workforce management solutions that enable contact centers to forecast demand, plan staffing, create schedules, and optimize operations. You will also contribute to integrating agentic AI workflows into customer-facing products.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Building features across workforce management and AI-driven product areas
  • Developing accessible and responsive interfaces with React and TypeScript
  • Creating APIs and services using TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Writing clear, modular, and well-tested code
  • Leveraging AI tools to increase quality and velocity of delivered code
  • Contributing to technical designs with support from experienced engineers
  • Reviewing code and sharing constructive feedback with teammates
  • Investigating production issues and participating in the team's on-call rotation
  • Collaborating with Product, Design, and platform teams to drive feature development
  • Contributing to improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and documentation
  • Integrating agentic AI capabilities into customer workflows
  • Learning and applying new technologies as the platform evolves

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a full-stack engineer with strong fundamentals and the ability to deliver features independently across both frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications
  • Strong TypeScript and React skills
  • Experience developing backend services and APIs
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL
  • Experience writing frontend or backend tests
  • An understanding of software design, performance, and maintainability
  • The ability to debug problems across multiple parts of an application
  • Experience independently delivering projects
  • A collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
  • Strong ability to leverage AI to accelerate your work
