Financial Controller (H/F)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential French technology organization in their search for a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a key partner in financial planning and business performance. In this high-growth environment, you will contribute across a diverse range of financial initiatives:

• Participate in monthly financial closings in coordination with operational teams and external accounting partners
• Produce financial reports, analyses, and presentations for operational teams, leadership, and investors
• Develop and coordinate budgets and forecasts
• Design new KPIs and dashboards to strengthen financial oversight and decision-making
• Structure financial processes for a hybrid business model involving both professional services and product revenue, including project accounting, activity rates, project and client profitability, sales and marketing ROI, and research tax credit tracking
• Serve as the primary financial contact for operational leads and cross-functional teams on profitability and performance topics
• Contribute to strategy development and continuous improvement of sales and delivery operations including pricing, contracting, resource planning, and cash collection
• Build financial awareness among non-finance teams around margin management, billing discipline, and recruitment planning
• Document financial processes and tools to support organizational growth and potential integrations
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making
• Support ad hoc analyses and projects as directed by leadership and investors

What We're Looking For

• Degree from a top business school or Master's in Corporate Finance, Management Control, or Audit
• Solid initial experience in Finance within a corporate finance department or consulting/audit firm
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Interest and curiosity in automation tools, AI applications in finance, and data management
• Autonomous working style with strong initiative and rigorous attention to detail
• Curiosity, versatility, and adaptability to manage multiple concurrent projects with critical thinking
• Strong communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Location: Paris La Défense
