About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI startup transforming the accounting industry in Munich. Our client has developed an AI-powered platform that automates bookkeeping workflows, client communication, and routine tasks for tax advisory firms facing severe talent shortages.

We're seeking a Customer Success Manager to serve as the vital link between customers and the product team. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the Munich office, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers, ensuring accurate system setup and a smooth first-day experience
• Serve as primary point of contact via phone and email, answering questions and guiding customers through daily product use
• Collect, organize, and prioritize customer feedback and requests, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Act as translator between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requests reach the right people and solutions return quickly
• Maintain organized workflows even when managing multiple parallel customer inquiries

What We're Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for direct customer interaction with confident, friendly communication skills in both phone and written formats
• Structured, organized work approach with strong attention to detail
• Empathy and service orientation—you listen actively, understand quickly, and think proactively
• Previous experience in customer success, customer support, or client services (preferred)
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level)
• Affinity for digital tools and eagerness to learn an AI-first product
• Experience with accounting processes and DATEV is a bonus but not required
• Foundational understanding of business processes and IT—you bridge both worlds effectively
