Materialprüfer / NDT-Experte (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking a Materials Testing Specialist / NDT Expert for their digital radiography systems division in Rostock, Germany.

In this role, you will:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on digital X-ray systems, including imaging software, PACS/DICONDE integration, and cloud archiving solutions
• Coordinate repair workflows and RMA processes with internal technical teams and suppliers
• Conduct on-site commissioning, customer training, and factory training sessions in Rostock and at client locations worldwide
• Create and maintain operating manuals, service documentation, and training materials
• Provide technical input for tender responses and RFI/RFQ specifications
• Perform and support non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, particularly in materials inspection contexts
• Support product demonstrations and present technical solutions to customers
• Contribute to ongoing product and process development initiatives
• Travel for field assignments approximately 10–20% of the time
• Provide customer consultations and technical support across the client base

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering or comparable technical background
• Proven experience as a materials testing specialist in non-destructive testing (NDT/ZfP)
• Ideally, knowledge or certification in radiographic testing methods
• Strong customer interaction skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• English language proficiency is desirable
• Enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration with technical departments
• Self-motivated with genuine interest in innovation and process improvement
• Proficiency in Windows environments and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, remote support tools)
• Familiarity with DICOM or DICONDE standards is a plus
• Intercultural sensitivity and excellent written communication skills

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience and qualifications. This is a permanent position with flexible working arrangements (part-time or full-time options available).
