About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing energy consulting and planning firm located in Tostedt, near Hamburg. Our client's team of engineers, planners, and technical specialists supports customers across new construction and renovation projects, providing comprehensive services from initial consultation through to project completion and funding disbursement.

Due to steady growth and increasingly complex projects, our client is seeking a Project Manager for Sustainable Building and QNG Certification (m/w/d) to join their team in Tostedt.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thermal and energy performance certificates for new construction and existing building projects
• Develop and evaluate energy efficiency and thermal protection concepts
• Support new construction projects with regard to QNG (Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings) and energy-efficient construction standards
• Create technical documentation, certifications, and compliance reports
• Advise on government funding programs and develop appropriate funding strategies
• Collaborate closely with architects, specialist planners, and building owners

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering or architecture (Bachelor or Master), or alternatively a completed craft apprenticeship with master craftsman certification
• Experience in building physics, thermal protection, energy-efficient construction, and ideally QNG certification processes
• Familiarity with relevant standards and certification procedures such as GEG (Building Energy Act), or willingness to develop expertise in these areas
• Independent, structured, and organized working style with results-oriented approach
• Solution-focused mindset with strong sense of responsibility and active team engagement
• Confident communication skills with friendly and professional demeanor when working with clients and colleagues
• German language proficiency required for this role
