Product Designer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise SaaS organization seeking a Product Designer to join their global User Experience team in Manchester. In this role, you will own feature-level product design, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to solve complex design challenges impacting thousands of enterprise users worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering user-centered solutions that balance user needs, technical constraints, business goals, and emerging AI capabilities
• Partnering closely with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle
• Participating in discovery activities including customer interviews, workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing
• Designing intuitive experiences across traditional enterprise workflows and AI-powered interactions
• Producing high-quality user flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and interactive prototypes using Figma
• Working with and contributing to the organization's design system to ensure consistent, accessible, and cohesive product experiences
• Leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and continuously improve experiences
• Advocating for accessibility (WCAG), usability, and thoughtful AI adoption across the product ecosystem

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Professional experience in product design
• Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Proven experience designing for data-rich, workflow-heavy interfaces and complex systems
• High proficiency in Figma and experience working within comprehensive design systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale clearly to cross-functional partners
• A systems-thinking mindset with a passion for high craft, continuous iteration, and constructive feedback

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience designing for enterprise platforms, including admin, builder, data modeling, or AI-assisted workflows
• Exposure to designing AI-powered experiences such as conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, or generative AI features
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions translate into technical implementation
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and inclusive design practices
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, financial systems, business planning software, or complex B2B solutions
• Experience operating within Agile, cross-functional product teams
