Project Manager (Canada)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential public safety technology organization seeking a Project Manager for a remote role based in Canada. This position involves managing software implementation projects for law enforcement agencies and requires travel to customer sites as needed.

As the primary liaison between the client and their customers, you'll lead complex deployments of operational information management systems while building lasting relationships with agencies across North America, the UK, and Australia.

Responsibilities

• Manage software implementation projects from initiation through completion, serving as the primary point of contact for customer agencies
• Lead project scope, timelines, risk management, and deliverable tracking across multiple concurrent engagements
• Facilitate customer meetings, workshops, training sessions, and regular status reviews
• Coordinate project activities between internal development teams and external stakeholders
• Schedule and oversee software upgrades and deployment activities
• Provide guidance on system functionality, best practices, and solution recommendations
• Conduct fit/gap analysis aligned with customer business processes and operational requirements
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including meeting minutes, status reports, and communications
• Support testing, validation, demonstrations, and customer presentations
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and project outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing projects within a police agency, public safety organization, or policing technology environment
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience leading software implementation or technology projects
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining team collaboration
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required
• Ability to obtain police security clearance, including fingerprinting, when requested by customer agencies
• Preference given to candidates based in Ontario
