Senior Manager, Social Media Management

We are representing a confidential advertising agency seeking a Senior Manager to lead social media strategy and execution for global brand accounts. This is a hands-on leadership role based in Berlin, where you'll drive TikTok-first content strategies, manage multi-platform campaigns, and serve as a senior partner to major clients. Responsibilities

• Own and execute TikTok-first content strategies for global brand accounts, defining platform-native formats, content pillars, and creative direction that deliver measurable engagement and business impact
• Lead content planning and production across TikTok, Reels, Stories, and complementary formats, ensuring every channel feels native, intentional, and aligned with brand voice
• Manage social media for multiple brands within parent account structures, adapting global frameworks for regional markets with particular focus on DACH
• Serve as senior client partner, steering projects from brief to delivery, proactively shaping agendas and challenging approaches that don't align with platform or audience behavior
• Track, synthesize, and present performance data, translating analytics into client-ready insights and actionable recommendations
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members and contribute platform expertise to pitches and new business development

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on social media management experience with clear TikTok focus and proven results across global or multi-market brand accounts, ideally in consumer goods, home appliances, or lifestyle hardware
• Deep understanding of TikTok mechanics: trend cycles, FYP algorithm behavior, and the instinct to recognize platform-native content versus engagement killers
• Experience operating within multi-brand account structures and global-to-local content models, managing competing brand identities across markets without sacrificing quality or speed
• Hands-on creative skills with ability to concept campaign ideas and translate them into platform-native formats that resonate with audiences and impress clients
• Proficiency with Canva, video editing tools, social analytics platforms, and active use of AI tooling to scale workflow
• Confidence leading senior client relationships, communicating platform logic clearly, managing expectations, and influencing decisions at stakeholder level
• Fluency in both German and English
