About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming how businesses and individuals access financial services across Africa. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their payment products division in a remote capacity based in London.
This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, product strategy, and business growth. You'll design and implement data-driven strategies that improve user acquisition, retention, and engagement for digital payment solutions. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll translate complex business questions into actionable insights that shape product direction and drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, business development, and data engineering teams to surface key product metrics and identify growth opportunities
- Translate complex product and business questions into clear, actionable insights
- Build, maintain, and scale self-service dashboards and custom visualization tools
- Own end-to-end analytics for growth products, from data requirements gathering to experiment design and post-launch impact analysis
- Serve as a collaborative link between technology, business, and product teams
- Apply advanced statistical modeling techniques including A/B testing, multivariate testing, clustering, and supervised learning to solve high-impact business problems
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis roles at high-scale tech companies, tier-1 consulting firms, or investment banks with strong programming demands (academic projects and internships excluded)
- Excellent SQL skills, which will be tested during the interview process
- Practical experience designing, running, and analyzing experiments on digital products (A/B and multivariate tests)
- Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Demonstrated ability to apply statistical modeling and advanced analytics to deliver product-shaping insights
- Strong skills in Python with familiarity using Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter notebooks
- Clear, professional spoken and written English
Bonus skills: Experience in product management, marketing analytics, data science, design, or customer success
