Growth + Content Strategist – Creative Travel

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential creative marketplace platform in their search for a Growth + Content Strategist. Our client connects people with immersive, hands-on experiences led by master practitioners worldwide. They're a mission-driven organization focused on meaningful human connection through creativity and craft.

This is a contract role (~24 hours/week) based remotely in the United States, with potential to transition to full-time after an initial 4-month period. The ideal candidate will combine growth marketing expertise with exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills to drive email-driven conversions and deepen subscriber engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute email marketing strategies that convert subscribers into bookings, including newsletters, drip sequences, campaigns, and reactivation flows
• Craft compelling, emotionally resonant copy for emails, landing pages, and CTAs that inspire action and convey authentic human connection
• Strategically plan, segment, and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns with A/B testing and continuous optimization
• Run growth experiments using data and metrics to refine strategies and improve conversion rates
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance landing pages and user flows with focus on storytelling and experience
• Champion the brand's mission of creativity and cultural connection through every message and touchpoint
• Work closely with leadership and creative teams to amplify the organization's authentic voice

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience growing newsletters or email programs that drive meaningful conversions and business growth (beyond editorial content)
• Exceptional copywriting skills with ability to craft clear, compelling, emotionally resonant content
• Strong expertise in lifecycle marketing including segmentation, nurture flows, reactivation campaigns, and A/B testing
• Comfortable working with data, running growth experiments, and making data-driven decisions
• Experience with highly considered, emotional, aspirational products or experiences with longer buying cycles
• Preferably experienced with early-stage startups, marketplaces, or creator economy platforms
• Passionate about craft, culture, and immersive experiences with ability to communicate brand ethos authentically
• Based in United States time zones for collaboration (remote candidates in Canada or Western Europe may also be considered for time zone overlap)

Pay

This contract position offers approximately 24 hours per week on a monthly retainer basis. Our client offers $2,500-$3,500 monthly plus performance-based bonuses tied to growth milestones. After the initial 4-month period, there is strong potential to transition to full-time with salary range of $75,000-$100,000 plus potential equity.
