About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization that supports business leaders through complex challenges. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Telemarketing Agent to join a specialist triage programme serving company directors across multiple markets.

This is a full-time, fully remote independent contractor position based in South Africa. You'll serve as the critical first point of contact for business leaders seeking guidance, qualifying leads and connecting them with the right specialist support pathways.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries from company directors seeking guidance on their financial position
• Perform outbound calls to warm leads generated through targeted marketing campaigns
• Conduct structured triage conversations to qualify cases and assess specific business needs
• Accurately document all call activity, case notes, and lead information within the CRM system
• Schedule follow-up appointments and facilitate seamless hand-offs to specialist teams
• Proactively identify re-engagement opportunities within existing data sets
• Collaborate with programme leadership to provide performance updates and process feedback
• Assist with data management and lead tracking to maintain an organized pipeline

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, or a professional customer-facing phone role
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
• Ability to follow structured conversation frameworks naturally, avoiding a scripted feel
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail for precise data entry
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
• Self-motivated mindset with focus on hitting targets and achieving quality outcomes

Preferred:

• Prior experience within financial services, debt solutions, or business support sectors
• Experience working in a performance-led or lead-generation environment
• Knowledge of corporate insolvency or business recovery terminology
