Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Accelerators

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential semiconductor organization that builds custom system-on-chip solutions for cloud infrastructure. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join a specialized modeling group focused on machine learning accelerators.

This role centers on developing C++ and SystemC functional models of custom-designed accelerator SoCs. You'll be delivering new functional models, infrastructure, and tooling that enable internal engineering teams to validate and optimize next-generation hardware before silicon arrives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement C++ and SystemC functional models of custom machine learning accelerator SoCs
• Build modeling infrastructure and tooling to support internal customer teams
• Collaborate with hardware design teams to accurately represent SoC functionality
• Deliver models that enable pre-silicon software development and validation
• Optimize model performance and accuracy for cloud-scale machine learning workloads
• Support debugging and issue resolution for teams using your models

What We're Looking For

• Strong expertise in C++ programming for systems-level software
• Experience with SystemC or similar hardware modeling frameworks
• Background in SoC architecture, digital design, or computer architecture
• Understanding of machine learning accelerator concepts and requirements
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional hardware and software teams
• Senior-level engineering experience with proven ability to deliver complex modeling projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in functional correctness
